Food Handlers
Information on food handler's certification for Support Team:
Briscoe UAC expects all Support Team meal leads to complete a food handler's training prior to any given weekend. The UAC will reimburse meal leads for the cost of the course, up to $10.00. Upon completion of the course, print two (2) copies of the completion certificate; one for the individual, and one for the Briscoe UAC.
All members of the Support Team are welcomed and encouraged to participate in this useful course, however, the UAC will only reimburse meal leads. Certification is valid for 2 years.
Many food handler training programs are available online. Most team members have taken the on-line program listed below (about 30 minutes to complete).
