Questioning is a fundamental part of all strands of formative assessment.

The aim of this booklet is to reflect about self and peer assessment. Hence you will find some questions that are making increasingly challenging cognitive demands on your knowledge.

The way to know what you learned it to answer:

• 1. Which legal reforms during 18th century due to the settlement of the Bourbon dynasty are likely to have the greatest impact?

  2. How did the Spanish Bourbon kings develop a new political order? Who were the main actors of these changes?

  3. Which was the best institution to control the action of the king in the realms, according with the limitation of powers of government and the specific rights the Spaniards retained?

Please explain your opinion about all these items, and then evaluate from 1 (low) to 5 (high) each one, and finally add all the points for a final score.
