I am delighted to have five pieces on display at the Mason Government Center in Annandale, Virginia for the month of May, as part of the juried 2026 Art in Daily Spaces (ADS) exhibition. The ADS initiative invites ten artists to showcase their creations in one of seven different locations in Annandale for their third annual show. Their goal is to integrate art into people’s everyday environments, providing casual visitors and patrons the opportunity to encounter, appreciate, and purchase artists’ works. The project’s central aim is to enhance accessibility and enjoyment of art within the community.

Very pleased to have "Cat Nap" and "Rocky Raccoon vs Rocky the Flying Squirrel" in Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center's Camera to Brush exhibit from April 15 - May 29. It runs concurrently with the Think Pink exhibit in which I also have two pieces. If you get a chance, please stop by and see these shows at 110 Westover Avenue Wednesday through Saturday 11-3 & Sunday 1-4.

I have two large paintings, "Ware Creek at the York" and "Rural" welcoming folks to the Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in their main lobby. I am delighted to share them with patients, visitors, and staff.
My most recent mural created from my painting is installed on the entrance wall of the La Vale, Maryland, Walmart. It is 12' 6" high by x 16' 6" wide, and, as I have certainly mentioned previously, is part of Walmart's Community Mural Program. NOW Art, in California, enlarges my painting ten times its original size and prints it on plastic film (a wrap). (https://nowartpublic.com/) They then install it on the wall of the store entrance as part of this program celebrating local communities in Walmarts across the world. I am honored, once again, to have my artwork be a part of this program, and I hope it appeals to the good people of La Vale! (As you have probably guessed, the two individuals standing in front of the mural are store staff, and someone added the Walmart logo to the posting).

Delighted to have a Walmart Mural welcoming shoppers in Smithville, Tennessee, celebrating their culture and annual Jamboree. This one is 10' 6" x 13' 6" and was installed April 2025 (photo by Luton Photography). I am honored to have my artwork be a part of this terrific program! https://www.walmartmurals.info/

Happy my painting has welcomed folks to the Powhatan, Virginia Walmart since October of 2025 This mural is 20' high by 18'8” wide. NOW Art creates it by enlarging my painting ten times its original size, printing it on plastic film in California, and installing the wrap on the wall of the store entrance as part of a program celebrating local communities in Walmarts across the country. https://www.walmartmurals.info/

I am very pleased to have a mural based on my painting installed in the Walmart in Front Royal, Virginia. It is 14'2" high by 18'10" wide. I am also glad to have a mural in the Walmart entrance in Chesterfield, Virginia. It is 14'2" high by 18'8" wide. https://www.walmartmurals.info/
I am really happy to have a in the Walmart entrance in Merrill, Wisconsin. It is 13'4" high by 25'1" wide. NOW Art enlarged my 16" x 30.1" painting, printed it on plastic film, and installed the wrap on the wall at the store entrance in early May of 2025 as part of their program celebrating local communities. I am honored to have my artwork again be a part of this wonderful program! https://www.walmartmurals.info/
I am excited to also have a mural welcoming folks to the Walmart in Culpeper, Virginia. NOW Art in Los Angeles installed it in late April 2025. They enlarged the image to 10 feet x 20 feet.

If you find yourself in scenic Stuart, Virginia, please stop by the local Walmart and see the mural I was commissioned to create, with a lot of help from the good folks at NOW Art in Los Angeles https://nowartpublic.com/. They installed it in early October of 2024. They digitally manipulated, greatly enlarged (8' 8" x 16' 8") and printed the image from my painting onto a large plastic sheet which they then adhered the wrap to the wall. A lot better than me on a ladder!
This is part of the program in Walmarts across the country to celebrating local communities, which I am delighted to have my artwork be a part of: https://www.walmartmurals.info/

Pleased to have had two pieces in Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center's Climate Change Exhibit from February 25 thru April 10, 2026.
Fire and Ice By Robert Frost:
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

Delighted to share six of my source paintings for Walmart community murals at Bay School Community Arts Center through the end of March, along with photos of the installed murals. Gallery Manager Jennifer Schroeder also recorded me talking about the Community Mural program, the paintings, and my experience navigating their creation. Not an Oscar winning performance on my part, but if you turn the volume up, and have a strong cup of coffee, you can get through it:

"ATL Escalator" and "Chickahominy Riverfront Park Pier" were on display as part of Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center's Art Inspired by Poetry exhibit during October. As you have likely already deduced, this show displayed artwork inspired by poetry or, in my case, song. I credit Robert Hazard's "Escalator of Life" and Al Green's, "Take Me to the River" for some of the inspiration for these paintings. It was another fun show!

Brookdale Chambrel Williamsburg held its 4th Annual Artful Blooms Gala for Alzheimer's on October 18th, and I was delighted to again have work in this amazing creative exhibit and fundraising gala.
The event features the work of local floral designers who chose a painting by a local artist to interpret through their floral creations. The afternoon pairs visual artwork with live music, hors d'oeuvres, and drink, creating an extraordinary experience and raising money for a most worthwhile cause.
I was pleased "Colonial Stage Wagon" and "Taliaferro-Cole Kitchen Garden Tulips" were in Williamsburg Artists Group's exhibit at the Stryker Center Gallery from September 2nd through October 9th of 2025.

"Critter Condominium" was on display as part of Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center's Camera to Brush exhibit along with Lydia Hoffman's “Le Roi,” the photograph which inspired my piece in August and September. Lydia is also a talented painter and has multiple works in the show.
