We develop novel bio photonic machine systems which can make high resolution, high speed, and high contrast visualization beyond the limits.
The research is based on various engineering principles including optics, mechantronics, and control. We develop technologies of optical imaging (high speed, high contrast, and high resolution), image analysis, and laser manipulation or fabrication. We develop the technologies for medical and biological applications. These technologies can be applied to precision industries including semiconductor, inspection, and fabrication.
An example of our opto-mechanical systems is a non-invasive high-speed imaging system of conjunctival goblet cells in the eye for dry eye disease diagnosis.
