Course description
In this course, students will learn how to program in R and how to use R for effective data analysis and visualization. “Turn raw data into understanding, insight, and knowledge” (Wickham and Grolemund). We use R to import, prepare, understand, and communicate our findings; surrounding all these tools is programming. Each second week, exercises complement the lectures with applications. This is an interactive course. The students are required to bring their own laptop to the lectures, exercises and the exam.
