Daily Special was founded in the fall of 2015 when Cay (bass) and Antonio (tenor emeritus) were looking for singers to form a new youth quartet to compete in the BHS International Youth Quartet Contest. When they first sang with Chad (lead) and John (baritone emeritus), they knew they'd found a match! The quartet (under their previous name, Last Chance) had the honor of representing the NED at the International Youth Quartet Contest in Nashville, TN in 2016.
The four quickly found that their connection was deeper than just music--they soon became close friends. But when John and Antonio were called away to new jobs and new opportunities, they re-formed with their friends Isaac (tenor) and Ben (baritone) in 2017, completing their foursome.
The members of Daily Special are committed to making music with authenticity, positivity, and compassion. They love to sing for all audiences, and they can’t wait to perform for YOU.
Sincere. Original. Silly. Theatrical. Hungry. These are all words that are often used to describe Daily Special.
They have performed everywhere from schools, churches, and assisted living facilities to high-profile, professional concert venues. The members of Daily Special take pride in their goal of being model citizens of the a cappella world, sharing their music and leadership skills with their communities.
