Formed in 1982 by four veteran Barbershoppers, Anything Goes finished in second place in the 1982 NED Quartet Contest. By October 1983 they had figured it out, and won the NED Quartet Championship in Providence, Rhode Island. Competing in the International Quartet Competiton in St. Louis in July 1984, they placed 41st, and remained popular on the NED show circuit until their retirement in 1987.
