Bhaskara Gupta's literary work, Parvathyam, was released on 3 February 2005 at Vadakkepat Ashtami-Rohini, Katampazhipuram, Palghat. The day happened to be his 70th birthday (Saptathi). Parvathyam is a collection of poems written by the poet in his early ages at the age of 15 and onwards. There were 29 poems on various subjects ranging from nature to generations of the family. Some of the poems clearly reflex revolutionary vision on families and nature.
In the poem "Keralam" the poet highlights the natural beauty and the historical culture of the wonderland Kerala, where the harmonious living of various communities of the religions is highly appreciated. Also he laments on the deteriorating standards of the present day Keralites. In another poem "Kundum Kuzhiyum" the poet visualizes the tragic scenario when the Earth is made to be flat without hills and lagoons. The poet wonders what will happen when Himalayas is submerged in to the Pacific Ocean. He deplores that there won't be any enchanting rivulets, no gardens, no flowers, and no hills. At last it is declared that such a scenario should not arise and there should be rivers, hills and seas on earth for the human race to survive. This depicts a clear vision of the life of the humanity. There should be sorrows as as well as pleasures and happiness.
Some of the poems indicate his love for nature, its varying moods and the delight he gets from a blossoming flower near him.
