Join the Beach Cleanup!

SUNDAY, AUG. 12, 2012 - 8am-12pm. Come on out and make our beaches even better! All are welcome to participate.

Here are the locations for the NYC DEP/Parks Dept. "Clean Streets = Clean Beaches" events. All of the clean ups are scheduled for Sunday, August 12, from 8 AM to 12 noon:

1) Plumb Beach, Brooklyn - Exit off the Belt Parkway Eastbound just past Exit 9, Knapp Street or via bike path which starts at Emmons and Brigham St.

2) Gerritsen Beach, Brooklyn - Gerritsen Ave. street end, south of Lois Ave.

3) Kaiser Park, Brooklyn - Park House at West 28th St. and Neptune Ave.

4) Pugsley Creek Park, Bronx - Lacombe Ave. and Pugsley Ave.

5) Conference House, Staten Island - Conference House Park Visitors Center

6) Rockaway Beach, Queens - B. 97th St. on the boardwalk
