Governance

My strengths lie in organisational governance and leadership with particular expertise in bringing an authentic Māori lens and engaging communities and stakeholders.  I currently hold a number of governance roles for local, regional and national organisations.  I have solid business acumen and an informed view on local and national political and social issues.  I am a Chartered Member of the NZ Institute of Directors, and graduated from the IOD Mentoring for Diversity programme in 2020. I am versed in tikanga and fluent in te reo Māori.  I also hold a number of voluntary community leadership positions as supporting grass roots development is important to me.
