My strengths lie in organisational governance and leadership with particular expertise in bringing an authentic Māori lens and Māori engagement. I currently hold a number of governance roles for local, regional and national organisations. I have a solid business acumen and an informed view on local and national political and social issues. I am an active member of the NZ Institute of Directors and graduated from the IOD Mentoring for Diversity programme in 2020. I am versed in tikanga and fluent in te reo Māori. I also hold a number of voluntary community leadership positions as supporting grass roots development is important to me.
