Entrance fee is $5.00 at the door. The actual performance room is upstairs. PLEASE NOTE - This location can be hard to find as there is only a small sign and single door entrance on 18th Street, & there is no street parking (this is a busy neighborhood in Adams-Morgan entertainment part of DC. Artomatic (http://www.artomatic.org/) is a month-long multimedia arts event that draws together visual artists, musicians and performers and brings their work to the community. Artomatic is free and open to everyone. Sonic Circuits (http://dc-soniccircuits.org/) is presenting a daylong minifest of some of DC’s finest proponents of experimental music. "The Woodstock of electronic music" -- Philadelphia Inquirer

The electro-music(TM) festival is the world's premiere event for experimental electronic music. This three day conference/music festival will be held at the Star Lake Camp in Bloomingdale, New Jersey, October 29 - 31, 2009. The program will include three full days of concerts, seminars, demonstrations, and jam sessions. Now in it's fifth year, we expect this to be the biggest and best electro-music event ever!

The scope of this festival is very broad, covering all aspects of electro-music: experimental electronic music, circuit bending, computer music, electro-jazz, modular synthesis, musique concrete, improvisation, algorithmic composition, multi-media, visual art and much more. On June 17th 2010 we were lucky enough to receive an invitation from Melinda Wise, the Associate Producer of FOX45 TV to be featured on their morning "Hometown Hotspot" show. It was a long day & the live TV broadcast that Fox45 unexpectedly gave us on June 25th was a definite blast as we never expected that to happen.

One of our groupmembers, Davis White from the group RDK, was kind enough to digitally recorded a "behind-the-scenes" look of this event which he titled "Baltimore SDIY Users Group on WBFF FOX45 Behind The Scenes". After years of toiling in autodidactic obscurity he summoned-up the courage to contact one of his idols, Karlheinz Sctockhausen, by mail. "International Electromatics" is the duo project of electro-sonic artists Dave Vosh and Frank Vanaman. They perform on modular synthesizers and every performance is an improvisation. Previously they have performed at the National Electronics Museum in Linthicum, MD. and Baltimore`s now sadly defunct "Hexagon Space".
