Toby Churchill Ltd has chosen the CPLD board as the engine for their SL40 Lightwriter.
The board processes the keyboard, 2 x graphics-displays, extensive user-memories, advanced speech-synthesis, post-processing rules, lexicons, tri-gram word-prediction, RTC, SMS, and so on.
They have produced an auxiliary board with external connectors and an ultra low-power MSP430 chip for 'watchdog' functions.
