Final Project

The final project is an empirical analysis of some dataset. Please note: you can use AI for any and all parts of the project. 

Here are the requirements: 

• Any real dataset that is not toy-sized is fine. Here are some potential sources of data: 

  • Publicly available data sources

• You must make the final dataset (after cleaning and creating new variables) available to me. The purpose is to allow me to analyze the data myself

• You should write up the analysis as a simple paper that 

  • Introduces the research question and explains what's at stake (what's interesting or useful about it)

  • Describes the data and methods used to analyze it. The description should be good enough that I can replicate your analysis

  • Reports the results

  • Includes a discussion section that interprets the results in light of the introduction

The paper and data are due  Dec 17 by midnight. Please email it in the form of a Microsoft Word file to sborgatti@uky.edu. You can provide the data as a link within the paper.
