Thank u sir for the efforts u put in while teaching us this course. It was a real learning experience. You facilitated us in every way in terms of material and guidelines regarding assignments. It should be the way every learning institution should follow. I hope teachers at PIDE are trained this way so that students willingly learn and enjoy reading. We feel lucky to have this experience and will enjoy learning more with you. May Allah bless u Thank u so much sir. Aisha Irum
We also enjoyed a lot while attending this course. We are really lucky that you have taught us such comprehensive details of the subject, otherwise we could not be able to see the reality in its true sense. This microeconomics theory II course realy improved our analytical skills to understand any phenomenon. We are happy fouzia yasmin
Sir i want to confess that in the start of the course, i was much worry that what you are teaching. i have taken micro 2 course in Mphil from PIDE. whatever you teach was different and my heart was not accepting any thing you teach. but gradually my heart and mind started accepting your teaching. am thankful to you for showing us a new way to think.May God bless you good health Muhammad Mujahid Iqbal
Respected Sir, Thank you so much for giving us your precious time. Sir, I learned a lot from this course especially one thing that theories should be understand in its historical contexts. Sir, one more thing, its really a great thing from your side that despite of lot of things which you have to managed as a vice chancellor you are always on time in the class and its difficult to find such teachers. We are happy that we get this opportunity of studying the course of Microeconomics from you. Romina Maryum
Dear Sir
Greetings!!
We are at loss for words, honestly. You always leave us speechless with your generosity and kindness.
It is often difficult to establish a great student/professor relationship but you have done a fantastic job of being an amazing, effective, yet different instructor.
Thank you for making the lesson relevant. Your lessons were so much easier to remember because you presented the opportunity to relate them to something we already knew. With every new lesson or term you explained, you gave a current real-life example.
Thank you for your enthusiasm! I fed off your energy. It may seem Impossible to think university students could be alive, alert, awake, and enthusiastic for an 8:25 am class two days a week. But, we came excited to learn because you came excited to teach. Your constant smile and frequent corny jokes created such a light and positive environment in the classroom. We as students respected your authority, yet felt comfortable enough to share ideas, ask questions, and discuss as if everyone inside the classroom was equal. That’s an environment that only few students get to truly experience.
Thank you for believing in us. Thank you for making us believe that everything is possible. Thank you for everything and above all thank you for being "Yourself".
You are the best thing ever happened to PIDE.
We wish you teach us one more course in next semester too. And we get more fruits of your knowledge, wisdom and wit.
Good luck with your book writing. World needs more economists like you. We are blessed to have you as Our VC, teacher, mentor and north star.
May Allah bless you beyond measures.
Best regards
Misbah Qureshi
ASSALAM-O-ALAIKUM Sir,
AL HAMDO LILLAH, Personally, I have learnt very much in the class and from your video lectures on YouTube. You are the first one in my academic career who pointed out the flaws in the economic theories and encourage us to think over these theories by matching it with the real world.
During this course, every moment I enjoyed. However, two occasions I really felt proud that I explained the flaws in the existing theories to two students (one is very close to me and a strong believer of neoclassical theories before this course, as we discuss the flaws in these theories what I have learned in this course) at PIDE by explaining simply, for instance, the flaws in supply-demand theories and the example of youR research paper Syed Kanwar Abbas on the efficiency wage hypothesis.
I wish that I learn more from you directly in class, however, I am happy that I can learn through your video lectures and your newspaper writings in future IN SHAA ALLAH.
I pray that ALLAH give you sound health, life and time to help the “ummah”.
جزاك اللهُ خيرًا
Your student, Haseen Shah
After teaching this course, I have an outline of what needs to put into this textbook. I hope to have a chance to write it up in the next few months.
Best wishes for success in your comprehensives -- and all your exams in this world as well as the hereafter.

The last lecture L24 has just been uploaded. I have also created a page named LL25 -- the 25th Lecture -- this actually consists of 8 links, some of them are repeated -- same essay in urdu and english, and also video lectures + paper. All of these are just detailed explanations of topics which were covered very briefly in the LL24- Battle for Money lecture.
LL24 was the last lecture of the course. Thanks to the enthusiasm and interest of the students I enjoyed teaching it very much. For some time I have been meaning to write a textbook with the theme: Economics for the Twenty First Century -- See my post:
