• 1. Explain the difference between positive, normative and transformative approaches. Explain why there is no "transformative" approach to physical sciences, but the possibility exists only in social sciences.

  2. Explain the three dimensional approach to transformation of society that Islam takes. Explain why poverty would not be a problem in Islamic societies.

  3. Explain the POLICY implications. What are some of the practical steps we need to take, in order to implement the Islamic solution? Describe THREE steps, one for each dimension.
