Sample Question for Final

1. 10 Rounds of Prisoners Dilemma are played -- everyone plays everyone (including their own self) - in a population with 100 Angels (who always cooperate) 100 Economists (who always betray), and 100 Tit-for-TaT players. Calculate, approximately, the score at the end of the 10 rounds for each group.

2. Explain, intuitively, the reason for your results -- that is, why the relative fitness of the different groups is high or low?

3. According to Evolutionary theories, what would happen in the long run? Which groups would thrive and survive, and which groups would be eliminated? Why are these results CONTRARY to what economists teach about what happens in the long run, as a result of survival of the fittest?
