There are TWO courses - Advanced Macro I and Advanced Macro II on this website. They are in REVERSE order -- Lectures labeled MAC01, MAC02, MAC03, ... and so on are the lectures of Advanced Macro 1 -- The lectures labeled AM01, AM02 are for Advanced Macro II.

Main Textbook for Advanced Macro I is the Modern Monetary Theory textbook of Wray, Mitchell and Watts  The lectures will be numbered in sequence from MAC01, MAC02, etc. UPDATED version of textbook is now available from Macroeconomics 

For Advanced Macro II, the course starts by finishing up - the last four chapters of the MMT textbook covered in Macro 1. This material is covered in AM01 to AM05, the first five lectures. Next three lectures cover the East Asian Crisis and the rise and fall of the Gold Standard - AM06 to AM08. Next AM09 to AM20 cover Why Minsky Matters by Wray. Finally, the last six lectures AM21 to AM26 cover the first seven chapters of House of Debt by Atif Mian and Amir Sufi.
