Some Updates

12/18/2008:

     I've been thinking of following the 12/19 boycott of YouTube.  I might make a 60s video about it, I haven't decided.  Also, for some reason, in the middle of yesterday, the HD videos were taking on range of 4 hours to upload, per.  That thankfully subsided but was extreme nonetheless.  I've been able to kick my feet up a bit having taken my final for my class.  Next Monday is the final presentation.  There will be scouts from Sun Microsystem and other companies.  I'm kinda excited, it's unlikely, but I might get hired on the spot.  Regardless, this vacation I've had has allowed me to fulfill some requests and finish my Fahrenheit walkthrough.  When I wake up this morning, I'll start uploading these bad boys.  Entelzar has been eagerly anticipating them, along with several other YouTubers.  If anyone actually reads this thing, they will have early warning of coming footage.  Oh and, Rosario Vampire has made a second season.  In only a couple of days I'm already up to episode 11, today sometime episode 12 is supposed to be released.  It's become one of my favorite shows of all time.  ^_^

     One more thing I've been concerned with.  Right now there aren't a lot of new games, there's a couple.  But I foresee in the near future several more games being released.  I'm concerned that with how many requests I'm getting to continue footage of current LPs, my system might be too lenient on requests and end up hampering new game footage.  I guess only time will tell. 

12/11/2008:

     I found a brand new YouTube vidmaker named WolfGamerX I'm going to give some exposure to.  ^_^  Also, my best friend Entelzar is a noob.  He hasn't seen so many great movies I have gotta steal him away and get him to watch some stuff.  Like Sunshine, Cowboy Bebop, Transporter, and American Pie (that last one isn't very good, its just interesting).

12/10/2008:

     I've been smelling ginger all day.  And no, I'm not talking about an effeminate guy named Ginger.  Some house near me is cooking something and using a lot of it.  And the bad part is, ginger, while not a bad smell, isn't one of those awesome smells like cinnamon, coffee, maple, strawberries, or bacon.  I just noticed all those things are associated with breakfast.  Anywho, so at this point, I'm simply tired of this smell...

12/9/2008:

     I'm doing a great job shirking all my responsibilities!  Instead I played 4 hours of Fahrenheit... three times.  First time I recorded 4 hours of the game without checking my sound settings.  When I looked at the footage, I sighed, and deleted it all.  Next I set my sound settings exactly what worked before and was certain it was working.  I rerecorded 4 hours of footage, and exited the game and checked it.  No sound.  At this point I take a break.  Several driver changes, software uninstallations, settings modifications, and reboots later, I get my sound working for sure and tested.  I record 4 hours of footage AGAIN and this time it's fine.  I'm now uploading said footage.  You guys can never say I don't work hard for you.  :)

12/8/2008:

     Well I got busy with my project again and today I have class until late at night.  Tomorrow I should be able to make some more footage again.  

     I was in the BART (subway for the San Fransisco Bay Area) and my car of the train derailed and huge sprays of sparks went flying, metal got so hot it started glowing, and metallic smoke filled the car.  I sat there rather nonchalantly looking at the destruction right across from my seat (on the outside of the car) and thought to myself...  SWEET!  No one was injured, I just enjoyed the fact that my usual ride wasn't so boring this time.  ^_^  The delay wasn't bad either. I had time to buy some disposable shavers and some strawberry gummies.  Two minutes after I returned to the BART station, they had a train prepared to go the wrong way on the other rail to get the passengers to their destination and me home.

12/5/2008:

     I finally got a break from my project at least a little bit.  Since people have been requesting it I made some NFSU footage.  I tried to get it widescreen but gave up after about 15 minutes of usage of tools.  I'm still waiting waiting for Bully to be patched, waiting to locate a method to avoid using Steam to play Space Trader, waiting for Age of Booty to finally be released for PC, and there's no way I'm going to get GTA IV right away with the current success rate of Rockstar PC ports.  I'm gonna wait a while first.  So now I get to play the waiting game.  

     Also, I'm strongly tempted to fulfill one of the walkthrough requests I've gotten.  Not all the way through mind you, but at least some of it.

12/4/2008:

     I'm busy as always on my project but I've had some time to make some videos and throw this website together.  I'll be improving it as time goes on.  The bulletin system in YouTube was very simplistic and was just expansive enough to hold the data this website now holds.  The problem lies in the fact that this website is so much more expansive, the little data I wanted to store seems minuscule.
