I've been looking at the combination of Spring Roo and Automated Business Logic.
Roo is a Domain Driven development environment; relying heavily on the features of Spring and Java annotations to support quick scaffolding of apps.
Web Flow provides flow based web page control.
ABL is a set of Java annotations that define Business Logic in a concise and maintainable manner.
