I have on old laptop that I was installing CentOS on to experiment with Docker.
But it had such an old Wireless device that device drivers are seldom included in an installation ISO.
I had an old 4 port ethernet switch kicking around which I connected the old laptop to my main Win7 laptop which connects to the internet via a wireless connection.
[CENTOS LAPTOP, NO WIRELESS] <---> [4 PORT SWITCH] <---> [WIN 7 LAPTOP] <---> [WIRELESS ROUTER] <---> [INTERNET]
I then followed these instructions to created a bridge on my Win7 laptop between the wireless network and the Ethernet network.
Hey presto, the CentOS laptop can now access the internet (as long as my Win7 laptop is turned on, but that's OK by me).
