In the year of 2007, I have been asked by "Elbit Security system's
CEO to found, beyond my regular duties, a formation of firm's
involvement in the southern city of Sderot.
After I gave my agreement, I created a unique coorperation with
"Atzmaut (Independence) project" for Ethiopian Jewish
immigrants.
Those times, the city was targeted by Palestinian rockets on a
daily base. Although the situation was frightening, the
cooperation succeded very much and volunteering employees
were active every day in the community center.
In some events, up to 40 employees were participating- more
than 30% of the company's employees.
My few years' experience with volunteer's management
awarded a lot of appreciation inside the company, in the
community and other firms.
I have been asked to present my experience and concept of
volunteers management to other organizations such as Sherutey
Briut Clalit- Israel's largest medical services organization, Teva-
the large multinational pharma firm and to the municipal
authorities.
Volunteringly, I serves as the chairman of the Violence prevention committee in Eshkol Regional Council.
I led the committee through structural and personal changes from mapping the whole violence events in the area, to establishment of a program for implementation by the council's departments (education, social services, security etc.)
I have been elected to be a member of my village executive board. The board holds two positions: one as the Municipal board and the other as a Agricultural Corporation board.
In both positions, the board is responsible to supply municipal services to residents, to lead social processes and to take care of all the budget and financial aspects.
I was the chairman of the Regional Educaion committee.
The committee's vision is to establish a new Education, Sports and Culture campus in our region.
The 20 members of the committee I led, set the vision, the targets and the goals and then started to establish the program in teams.
