More than 20 years of managerial experience are making the difference.
During this period I manage frames of 200 and 300 subordinates and I also experienced years of management in a matrix organizations.
More than 20 years of managerial experience are making the difference.
I believe that management is a professional matter.
Therefore I have 10 managerial principles:
1. Manager must set a clear vision, goals and objectives. Management is not only technical issue. The manager must be a leader. He should carry away with him all the stake holders: managers, subordinates, customers and suppliers. The manager must have the ability to convince them that together, the vision can be true and to lead them towards it.
2. The manager should be able to develop theories and to implement those theories.
3. Creativity- the manager is responsible to lead to innovation in every field instead of coping other's ideas.
4. Implementation must be anchored with orders, instructions, procedures and continuous communication with the human resource.
5. Manager should prevent fire! At the end of the day, fire extinguishment is always much more expensive.
6. Transparency and sharing- in today's world, this is the best way to create obligation and motivate other people to achieve the goals.
7. Cool control- by setting the right priorities. I see no problems, only challenges.
8. Motivation- without enthusiasm and fun, don’t wake
up to work!
9. Reliability, equity and modesty- the firm must
consider the environment and the community around it.
10. People!!! Everything is people. The human resource is
the organization's engine. Treat it if you want to have
constant movement forward.
