Dear Students and Colleagues,
For the last few days their has been rumors and gossips about my job status at SUIT. I was looking for a right time to disclose it so that no one is affected especially students. It would have perturbed alot of you besides putting me in a difficult situation had i disclosed it before final exams. Now coming straight to the rumors; i must admit that SUIT students have got a strong watch on me which i will take as a compliment (Credit goes to Facebook as well).
I have got a lucrative job in my own field i.e. Human Resources. After studying alot i thought its time to get some practical exposure in HR field which was lacking in me before. This doesn't mean that i am leaving teaching profession for ever. By getting a first hand knowledge of HR practices i will be able to deliver my lectures in a much better way.
So this is my last semester or may i say last couple of weeks as i will be saying GOOD BYE to you people on 30 April 2009. It is important to mention here that i will make award lists of all my students before leaving.
In the end i will like to say that it was a good experience working in an academic environment. If i have antagonized anyone then please accept my apologies as i never meant to hurt some one personally especially my students. I simply wish all the success and happiness to SUIT staff members and my students. May ALLAH bless us all.
