We of the Quashigah Family have lost a cherished member. Aunty Agu was a respected Elder of the Family. Her presence and words meant so much to us. She was always there to grace our important occasions – wedding celebrations, graduations, funerals and others – in fact you just have to inform her of the occasion and she would be there, very elegantly dressed up to give dignity to the occasion.
She loved the Family; even when she could only walk with assistance, she would always endeavour to show up at Family meetings, and on time before the younger generations strolled in at leisure. We will remember and treasure memories of her strong support for the Executive members of the Quashigah Family Union, as well as her regular material support for the Union. She was always around to direct and offer assistance.
She was full of wisdom; she was gentle; she was kind and considerate. She was a beautiful Soul.
We will definitely miss her physical presence but not the sweet memories we have of her.
Aunty Agu, we were very fond and proud of you; FARE
