a soundtrack of urban life

the audience is asked to engage in an intimate encounter with the moving image of a woman going through her everyday routine. an orchestrated soundtrack of vehicle sirens alternates with sounds of nature and silence. the audience is asked to choose the sound they want to listen to and create a unique narrative each time.

this piece investigates the double nature of sound: voice against noise / silence against sirens it is an interactive sonic/visual installation that engages with the layers and fragments of contemporary urban culture that we encounter on a daily basis and comments on the impact of the contemporary urban soundscape on our ability to process information and communicate.
