a durational performance installation
about:
This piece uses multi-media, direct audience participation, sound and a sewing machine to uncover stories related to our clothes and build up a patchwork of memories, words and responses.
uncovered is a 5hour long performance installation that works as a composing device. for 5 hours the team of 3 (performer, sound designer and the artist) collect information (images, sounds and stories) related to the audience's clothes. the generated material is processed and transformed with the use of projection, live camera feed, sound, movement and the piece of clothing itself. each audience member is presented with an improvised 2 minute dance/visual piece composed ad hoc.
