Citing ASSISTments and acknowledging NSF Cyberinfrastructure Grant

It is important that you share your original data with the readers of your article. You do this by citing the ALI report discussed in section 4. You can use this paper as an example. Citation #4, #5 and #6 use google shortener links so people reading a hardcopy can easily access the data. We promise to keep the page links available forever. Any new data will not affect this archival report. You will want to report the exact data collection you used for your paper.

If you would like to (but you don't have to) acknowledge the support of NSF to WPI through a Cyberinfrastructure grant to make ASSISTments available to external researchers, you can include something like this:

  • "We thank NSF for their support in making ASSISTments available to conduct this research, through NSF Cyberinfrastructure Award 1440753, SI2-SSE: Adding Research Accounts to the ASSISTments Platform: Helping Researchers do Randomized Controlled Studies with Thousands of Students."
