You are cordially invited to submit a full original manuscript for

consideration to publish

in the 11th international conference on Bioinformatics and Computational

Biology (InCoB2012).

Depending on the submission tracks, selected papers will be published in

one of the four

journals, namely BMC Genomics (supplement), BMC Bioinformatics

(supplement), Journal of

Immunological Methods or Science Asia. The theme for this year was set to

promote the

advancement of bioinformatics and computational biology and encourage the

exchange of

scientific breakthrough amongst participants. We would like to encourage

submissions of

bioinformatics and related topics from various fields including (but not

limited to)

agroinformatics, population genetics, drug design and discovery, systems

biology,

biological sequence analysis, expression data analysis, scalable data

storage.

In addition to the aforementioned paper track, we also accept the

submission of an abstract

to be presented in a poster session. All accepted abstracts will be

published in book of

abstracts.

Like prior years, we use EasyChair to manage submissions. Authors are

requested to

submit their original manuscripts/abstracts through your choice of journal

and/or poster tracks.

There are four journal tracks: 1) BMC Genomics full paper, 2) BMC

Bioinformatics full paper,

3) Journal of Immunological Methods full paper, and 4) Science Asia full

paper. For the abstract

submission, there are four more tracks: 1) Poster abstract, and 2)

Technology/Demo abstract

Authors/contributors can use the following disciplines and non-exclusive

list of topics

as their guidance to submit papers/abstracts to the conference:

• Agroinformatics

• Biological sequence analysis

• Genomics and proteomics

• Metabolomics and other -omics

• Bio-ontology and semantics

• Genomic manipulation
