Some of you might know that I've been working on a Big Project the creation of a searchable data base for all my Australian WW1 Women indexing work which was started back in 2007
We I am very pleased to say that so far 962 names have now been put up into the WW1 Australian Women data base - thats all the small little units done - ( list below)
- now got the two biggies to do - about another 2000 names
British Red Cross & Australian Red Cross - Women who served Overseas
Australian Army Nursing Service
heres a sneak preview of what it looks like and what it will do ( see Photo )
Special Thanks to Keith Day for helping me by creating the database for me to put the names into and helping up load them
He has done an awesome job
And to All those lovely people who over the years have given me information & leads on some of the women thru The Great War Forum and on the facebook groups WW1 Australian and New Zealand Nurses, Women who served in WW1
and to Sue Light of Scarlet Finders who has always been a fountain of help and support.
It will be a few more weeks before all the up loading of names is complete
but the data base is working now at http://www.australianww1nurses.com/
