2009 New Orleans Saints win the Greatest Team 1980-2017 League title game, 20-10 over the 1985 Chicago Bears. The Saints rode the passing of MVP Drew Brees (33 of 45, 361yds) and a defense that forced 2 turnovers and recorded 4 sacks. After trading early turnovers and field goals, New Orleans got the game's first touchdown on a 10yd Brees to Reggie Bush connection. Chicago tied the game on the final play of the first half when McMahon hit Willie Gault on a 56yd bomb. In the 2nd half, New Orleans took control with scoring drives of 80 and 77 yards, followed by a Tracey Porter interception that all but put the game away. Wilbur Marshall was a standout for the Bears with 15 tackles in a losing effort.
