Check-in Procedure
Walking scorers must check-in at our tent office with Jim, Ann, or Karin (or their designee) at least forty-five (45) minutes prior to their assigned tee time. Failure to arrive on time will result in loss of your tee time assignment.
Alternate and cross-over report times are noted on your personal Walking Scorer Schedule.
What will happen when you check in?
Your assignment for the day will be confirmed.
You will receive your food voucher for the day.
If you’re unable to pick up your lunch in the volunteer tent during the designated hours of 11am – 3:30pm please let us know so we can keep your voucher and pick up your lunch for you.
You can pick up the materials you want to have for the round (for example, paper, pencil, poncho, clip board, snack).
Within 30-35 minutes of your tee time you'll need to pick up your radio, perform your radio check with the ShotLink truck, and make a mental note of the correct radio channel.
Within 25-30 minutes of your tee time you’ll need to pick up your scoring device and verify that it matches your expected group of players.
Arrive at your assigned tee box 15 minutes prior to your tee time. Locate and introduce yourself to your standard bearer. Do not enter the tee box until the group in front of yours has started down the fairway.
Once the group in front of you has exited the tee box, check in with the walking scorer tee hostess. Enter player clothing information as they become visible. Be prepared for the tee hostess to introduce you to the players if they make themselves available.
