9. My ninth posting - Deputy Director of Industries, West Bengal

I joined as Deputy Director of Industries (Employment) in the Directorate of Small Scale Industries on March 31, 1982, and continued there for a little over four months. It was somewhat of a waiting area for me.

Sri Sourin Roy, who later became the Chief Secretary to the Govt. of West Bengal, was the Director at the time.

There is nothing significant to add here.
