Entry fee
Antibes 30km International Open Water Swim 2023 entry fee is 390 EUR (TBC). The entry fee is the participant's subscription ("cotisation") to Maxi Plouf for that event. Maxi Plouf is a not-for-profit organisation with headquarters in Antibes which provides:
Water safety (fast response boat with skipper and crew) and support on land for the duration of the swim
Swim organisation, supervision and time keeping
Aid station at the swim start and finish (water bottles, bananas, fig biscuits, sunscreen)
Each participant with a support kayak for the duration of the swim (NB The 390 EUR entry fee does not include the swimmer's support paddler: see section below)
Familiarisation with sections of the course on 9th and 10th June
Each participant and their support paddler with a pubic liability insurance (NB Participants are encouraged to have their own personal insurance)
On request and at an additional cost (NB The estimates below are only indicative) the following services can be provided:
Paddlers who will handle the kayak: 200 EUR
For safety reasons, the kayak and swimmer must stay close together at all times during the entire swim
It is the swimmer's responsibility to follow the course and navigate
The swimmer can use their kayak to carry nutrition & hydration products and the paddlers will support the swimmer by handing out these products when the swimmer asks for them
Participation in team dinner after the swim: 40 EUR per person (swimmers, coaches, friends or family members)
Participation in team breakfast after the swim: 10 EUR per person (swimmers, coaches, friends or family members)
