Emigrants appearing in the Amts und Intelligenz Blatt .  Do a search on key words such as (1) Surname of interest,  (2) "Nordamerika", (3) "mit seiner Familie", etc.   This includes the year 1838.  A search on the word "Notar" can often led to information regarding estates of deceased individuals. [Additional newspaper sources can be found on his website under "Sources 1-100"
