Ana Ros Camacho

Welcome! I am a Lecturer (assistant professor) at the School of Mathematics of Cardiff University (Cardiff, Wales).

Previously, I held postdoctoral positions at the Mathematical Institute of Utrecht University (as NWO Veni Fellow, Marie Curie Individual Fellow and Junior Lecturer), at the École polytechnique-Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu-Paris Rive Gauche, in Paris (France) and at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn (Germany).

I wrote my PhD at the Research Training Group 1670 "Mathematics inspired by string theory and quantum field theory" in Universität Hamburg, Germany, where I was supervised by Prof. Dr. Ingo Runkel.

My research interests are in algebra and mathematical physics. Some keywords are: conformal field theory, vertex operator algebras, (modular) tensor categories, matrix factorizations.
