Alterations prices vary depending upon requirements. I do my best to remain reasonable as possible during these trying times!

Custom dressmaking is a detailed and time-consuming process. It may take from anywhere from 30-60 hours from concept to the finished construction of a garment. Complete service includes consultation, d taking measurements, pattern drafting, developing a fitting muslin sample (if necessary) before cutting your fashion fabric into particular design, muslin fittings, actual dress fittings for final adjustments, pressing and steaming.  The entire process may take between two weeks to two months.  These procedures are necessary to ensure that your garment properly fits your individual body measurements and suits your unique style needs. The finished result will be a professional, quality and well-constructed garment. 

*The price range for custom dressmaking start at $300 up. Custom special occasion dresses start at $850 up. Custom specialty gowns start at $1500 up. This pricing is based on basic design elements. Specifics to determine actual price include fabrics, findings, notions, fittings, etc. The cost of completed garments may vary considerably with a 50% deposit at garment start.    

The minimum price for theatrical costume design is $3000 with a 50% deposit at project start.

*These are prices for basic garments. These prices do not include original design sketches which are priced at $150.00. Additional details such as pleats, pockets, non-standard cut or size, etc. add to this price. Garments made of silk, satin or chiffon, for example, add 20% on top of the price because they take extra time, skill, and detail to work with. I will be able to give you a precise estimate once you choose fabric and details that will suit your unique idea, pattern or picture. I welcome all figure types!

Prices include 2 half-hour fittings. If more fittings are required, the price of $45 a half- hour applies.
