The Fleischer Studio, 1939-1941

Photo 3. Al received a "long" letter from Disney studio friends in 1939, rolled up on a cardboard tube like a roll of paper towels. You can see Al holding the start of the letter here. From left to right: Al, unknown, Pinto Colvig, Grim Natwick, Cal Howard. Another photo from this series appears in Leonard Maltin's book Of Mice and Magic.
