In our Unit;
We are just a group of patriotic ladies
that believe
Freedom and Democracy
are very valuable things;
that most people take for granted.
Veterans fought to preserve
those rights for you.
Please remember that daily.
Someone you know,
most likely lost a loved one
to give you those rights.
We are the family members
of those that serve
or have served our country
in times of war.
As Americans,
we owe gratitude to our veterans,
for serving to protect us.
Our Unit History
We became a unit
of the American Legion Auxiliary
in 2004.
The American Legion had
an active Post
in Braxton County for years,
but an Auxiliary Unit had never chartered.
So in November 2004
we changed that.
