Integrated Studio Lab Environment

To research and implement various artistic project based on visual perception, robotics, and AI. It is necessary to implement  a development environment to facilitate rapid prototyping, experimentation, exploration.

• Facilitate research and experimentation in an exploratory manner.

• Be scriptable.

• Possibility of visual programing

• Be easily extensible. plugins

• Should provide easy management of input/output, video cameras, pen plotters, robotic arm.

• Database t necessary to implement  a development environment to facilitate rapid prototyping, experimentation, exploration.

• Facilitate research and experimentation in an exploratory manner.

• Be scriptable.

• Project management (Version control, Bug reporting).

ISLE core language will be Python.

Python is reputedly ideal for rapid prototyping because of its dynamic typing and introspection capabilities and also as it is a “glue” language for libraries in C or C++.
