Teaching Experience

Sept. 2013- Present: [Tenure] Associate professor (2018-present), Assistant Professor (2013-2018), Teaching Assistant (2010-2013), Demonstrator (2007-2010), at Mathematics and computer science department, Faculty of science, Menoufia university, Egypt.

Teaching graduate and undergraduate course in information and network security, cryptography, design and analysis of algorithms, operating systems, image processing. computer networks, Artificial Intelligence, Digital forensic and investigation, Computation theory, algebra, discrete mathematics, programming languages, object-oriented programming.

Supervised more than 10 Ph.D and MSc students theses in different security related topics, and more than 30 senior students projects in the same field.

Prepare to establish the first research lab (CybexQIPAI) in the field of Cybersecurity, Quantum Information Processing , and Artificial Intelligence which is the first research lab in Egypt and the region, and I am the lab director.

Prepare with my colleagues the study plans for the graduate/undergraduate program in Faculty of science, Menoufia university, Egypt. I served as member and chair in many committees at the department/college and university level.

Conducting Research in cybersecurity, quantum information processing, and intelligent systems. Writing proposals and grants. within 7 years I involved in 5 research grants

Sept. 2018- June 2019: Adjunct-Assistant Professor, Information Technology and Computer Science Nile University (NU), Egypt.

Teach course in the B.Sc. program of Information Technology and Computer Science. Those courses include: theory of computation, and Cryptography.

Sept. 2016- June 2018: Adjunct-Assistant Professor, Faculty of Science, Damanhour University, Egypt.

Teach course in the B.Sc. program of mathematics and computer science. Those courses include: Operating Systems, design and analysis of algorithms, theory of computation, and Cryptography.

Sept. 2013- June 2016: Adjunct-Assistant/Associate Professor, Misr University for Science & Technology: MUST, Egypt.

Sept. 2019- June 2020: Adjunct-Assistant/Associate Professor, Misr University for Science & Technology: MUST, Egypt
