The sophomore advisory program focuses on helping students develop relationships and be successful in high school. Students continue learning about the Six Comer Pathways, and they create plans to help themselves grow as individuals in each of the six areas throughout the year. Students use the sophomore advisory guide during the seventy minute advisory period each week. Teachers are allowed to come up with their own lessons, as long as they cover the same topics each week.
Students complete three Student Led Conferences each year. To prepare for the conferences, they spend two advisory periods working on their sophomore student success plans.
