This page describes how to take care of the Parents As Partners Blog.
- The blog is located at http://adlpap.blogspot.com/
- You need to Sign In with your Google credentials before you can post or do admin tasks.
- Having Google credentials doesn't necessarily mean you have to be using GMail, though if you have a GMail account, that would work.
- If you have some other email - like yourname@somewhere.com - then you can visit the Google site and create a Google account with that email address. You won't get GMail, but you will get an identity that you can use to sign in.
- Once you sign in, just look around for links to make a New Post on the blog.
- If you're posting meeting minutes, you can simply copy from MS Word and paste into a new post.
- Tips:
- Be careful about posting personal info like phone numbers or email addresses. Consider whether the person would care. Be aware that "spam robots" troll through web sites looking for email addresses to send spam to. You can hide from the spammers by changing the email to something like "someone at somewhere.com" (literally, change the '@' to "at").
- Admin tasks
- Visit this page to find basic settings: http://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=7487814631334246793#basicsettings
- Once there, you can determine who has admin access, and add/remove people with admin access.
- Similar sections on the settings and admin panels let you control and edit the layout, static page content, etc.
