Tarisai Mchuchu-MacMillan is an Advocate, a crime and violence prevention programmes specialist and currently is the Executive Director of MOSAIC Training Services and Healing Centre for Women, an NPO that works to prevent and reduce gender-based violence, in particular domestic, sexual and intimate-partner violence. Tarisai’s expertise ranges in crime and violence prevention, gender-based violence, human and sex trafficking, community coordinated responses to violence prevention, access to justice, engaging men and boys to prevent gender-based violence, children’s rights, and family law. Tarisai is now the Vital Voices Flag Bearer for Cape Town, a mentorship programme for women empowerment held annually on International Women's Day. She has also participated in public speaking events, such as the TEDxUCT conference with her talk, “Strong Communities, Fewer Criminals.” ​

Tarisai completed her B.A. (2006) and LL.B. (2010) degrees at the University of Cape Town and is an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa (admitted in 2017).
