Comfy clothing that is easy to move around in is best for class. Great clothing options for physical education includes t-shirts, sweatshirts, athletic shorts, or sweat pants. The proper footwear is also required by all students to maximize their potential for physical success and minimize their potential for physical harm. Since safety is our number one concern, it is imperative that each student has tennis shoes for Physical Education class. Some examples of improper footwear are: flip-flops, sandals, boots, and dress shoes. Students will have Physical Education class every 4 days. I understand it is difficult for young children to remember to wear tennis shoes on Physical Education days, but would ask that parents please help their child have accessibility to tennis shoes on those days. With everything else your child has to remember to bring to school, it may be a good idea to have them bring a pair of tennis shoes, along with socks, to leave in their locker for Physical Education days. Please contact me if there are any problems concerning proper footwear.
