Here are the units we will be participating in this year as a part of our Physical Education Curriculum:
-Fitness (focus on aerobic capability, muscle strength, and flexibility)
-Bowling (focus on approach, arm swing, technique, and etiquette)
-Soccer (focus on in-step kick, toe kick, dribbling, passing, and general rules)
-Volleyball (focus on forearm pass, overhead pass, serving, and general rules)
-Chasing, Fleeing, Dodging (tag,throwing, and movement activities)
-Manipulatives (scooters, parachute, etc.)
-Locomotor Movements (activities that incorporate different
movements such as skipping, galloping, jumping, and running)
-Basketball (focus on dribbling, passing, shooting, and general rules)
-Track and Field (focus on relays, field events, and running etiquette)
-Recess Activities (kickball, four square, etc.)
-Jump Rope (short rope and long rope activities)
