विरासत संजो संजो चलते रहे साहित्य की पगडंडी पर

विरासत को संभालना और फिर उसको एक परंपरा बनाकर उसका संवाहक बनना किसी भी सभ्यता और संस्कृति के लिए एक जरूरी प्रक्रिया साबित होती है। जो कुछ लोग अपनी साहित्यिक विरासत अपने जीवन में संजोकर आगे बढ़े हैं इतिहास में उन्हीं को याद किया जाता है और आने वाली पीढ़ियों में उनकी मिसाल दी जाती है।

ताजनगरी के ऐसे ही लोगों में से एक हैं पंडित सतीश चंद्र चतुर्वेदी जिन्होंने कि अपने साहित्यकार पिता की साहित्यिक विरासत को न सिर्फ संजोया बल्कि उसको आगे भी बढ़ाते हुए खुद के लिए भी साहित्य की पगडंडियों को चुना। इतना ही नहीं उन्होंने अपनी लंबी साहित्यिक यात्रा में कई अहम मुकाम भी हासिल कर एक नजीर पेश की है। 29 दिसंबर 1934 में जन्मे सतीश चंद्र चतुर्वेदी जी आज भी सर्राफा बाजार में चौबेजी के फाटक में जीवन के बेवजह के झंझावतों से दूर अपनी जीवन संध्या में भी खुशमिजाजी • के साथ सुकून का जीवन जी रहे हैं। 17 फरवरी 1961 में उनका विवाह रानी चतुर्वेदी के साथ हुआ। दो पुत्रियों समेत तीन पुत्रों के परिवार में संतुलित जीवन को जिया । उनकी प्रथम प्रकाशित रचना साहित्य में हास्य कलकत्ता के प्राची साप्ताहिक में 16 मई 1954 को प्रकाशित हुई । आकाशवाणी पर भी उन्होंने अपने पहले प्रसारण में अजयराम लवानियाँ का ब्रज काव्य 1957 में प्रस्तुत किया। सतीशचंद्र चतुर्वेदी की पुस्तकें अंगिरा से आगरा और आगरानामा आज भी शोधार्थियों को आगरा के विषय में अहम जानकारियां देती हैं।

उन्होंने नवीन मासिक, सैनिक के रविवासरीय साप्ताहिक परिशिष्ट, माध्यम वार्षिकी में संपादन कला का कमाल दिखाया। कई अभिनंदन ग्रंथों को भी संपादित किया है। जिनमें हरिशंकर शर्मा अभिनंदन पत्रिका, 48 नए कवियों की कविताओं के संग्रह आषाढ़ के बादल, हृषीकेश रचनावली, सोमनाथ नागर की रचनाओं के संग्रह कुंकुम कलश प्रमुख रूप से शामिल हैं।

जीविकोपार्जन चतुर्वेदी जी आज भी चौबे जी का फाटक में मौजूद पुश्तैनी दुकानों के किराए से कर लेते हैं। सांस्कृतिक संस्था रत्नदीप के बैनर तले शास्त्रीय संगीत और साहित्य गोष्ठियों का आयोजन करते हैं । हृषीकेश संग्रहालय का संचालन करते हैं। साहित्यिक- सामाजिक एवं सांस्कृतिक जगत में कई नए कार्यों को अंजाम दे अहम भूमिका का निर्वाह किया है।

चतुर्वेदी आज भी पुश्तैनी दुकानों के किराए से जीविकोपार्जन करते हैं। सांस्कृतिक संस्था रत्नदीप के बैनर तले संगीत और साहित्य गोष्ठियों का आयोजन व हृषीकेश संग्रहालय का संचालन करते हैं । साहित्यिक-सामाजिक एवं सांस्कृतिक जगत में कई नए कार्यों को अंजाम दे अहम भूमिका का निर्वाह किया है।

नवीन लेखक संघ के बैनर तले नवोदित लेखकों को एक मंच पर लाने का कार्य किया। चंदादित्य प्रकाशनऔर रत्नदीप प्रकाशन के बैनर तले साहित्यिक पुस्तकों का प्रकाशन किया। साहित्य संगम संस्था की स्थापना की। प्रियदर्शन निजी पुस्तकालय की स्थापना की। राहुल सांस्कृत्यायन, बाबू वृन्दावन लाल वर्मा, पं. बनारसी दास चतुर्वेदी के पत्रों का भी उनके पास संकलन है। हिन्दी पुस्तक प्रदर्शनी, वागीश्वरी, हस्त लिखित हृषीकेश स्मृति ग्रंथ, हृषीकेश व्याख्यान माला में भी उनका योगदान भुलाया नहीं जा सकता। चतुर्वेदी जी बताते हैं उनके पिता ने जो विरासत छोड़ी थी उस पर उनको आज भी नाज है। उल्लेखनीय है कि हृषीकेष चतुर्वेदी हिन्दी एवं ब्रज भाषा के ऐसे रचनाकार रहे हैं जिनके योगदान को साहित्य जगत में आज भी याद किया जाता है।

सतीश चंद्र चतुर्वेदी को सामाजिक मुद्दा उद्वेलित करता है तो पत्र लिखकर राय अथवा प्रतिक्रिया जताने से नहीं चूकते। नगर पालिका के प्रकाशक को 1987 में आगरा संग्रहालय स्थापित करने की सलाह दी। इसे दाराशिकोह के पुस्तकालय भवन (पुरानी नगर पालिका) में स्थापित करने का सुझाव दिया। राजामंडी स्टेशन का नाम राजा टोडरमल मण्डवी करने की सलाह दी। तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री स्व. राजीव गांधी से रेणुका आश्रम को पर्यटक स्थल के रूप में विकसित कर नाम यमदग्नि-रेणुका तपोवन किए जाने का मशविरा दिया। फारसी के कवि फैजी के मजार स्थल की पुर्नस्थापना की सलाह दी। लाल बहादुर शास्त्री जी से रेल यात्री का बीमा और उसकी राशि टिकट में जोड़ने का मशविरा दिया।

Cherish the legacy and keep walking on the path of literature

Holding the legacy and then making it a tradition and becoming its carrier proves to be an important process for any civilization and culture. Only those people who have cherished their literary legacy in their lives are remembered in history and are cited as an example by the coming generations.

One such person of Taj Nagri is Pandit Satish Chandra Chaturvedi who not only cherished the literary legacy of his father Pandit Hrishikesh Chaturvedi who is a writer but also took it forward and chose the path of literature for himself. Not only this, he has set an example by achieving many important milestones in his long literary journey.

Born on 29 December 1934, Satish Chandra Chaturvedi is still lived a happy and peaceful life till he passed away on 16 June 2020. He stayed at Agra's Chaubeji Ka Fatak in Kinari Bazaar. His first published work Sahitya Mein Hasya was published in Calcutta's Prachi weekly on 16 May 1954. In his first broadcast on All India Radio, he presented Ajayram Lavania's Braj Kavya in 1957. Satishchandra Chaturvedi's books Angira se Agra and Agranama still provide important information about Agra to researchers.

He showed his amazing editing skills in Naveen Monthly, Sainik's Sunday weekly supplement, Madhyam Yearbook. He has also edited many Abhinandan texts. These include Harishankar Sharma Abhinandan Patrika, collection of poems of 48 new poets Aashad ke Baadal, Hrishikesh Rachnaavali, collection of Somnath Nagar's works Kunkum Kalash.

Chaturvedi ji still earns his livelihood from the rent of ancestral shops present in Chaubeji ka Phatak. Organizes classical music and literature seminars under the banner of cultural institution Ratnadeep. Runs Hrishikesh Museum. Has played an important role by carrying out many new works in the literary-social and cultural world.

Worked to bring budding writers on one platform under the banner of Naveen Lekhak Sangh. Published literary books under the banner of Chandaditya Prakashan and Ratnadeep Prakashan. Founded Sahitya Sangam Sanstha. Founded Priyadarshan Private Library. He also has a collection of letters of Rahul Sankrityayan, Babu Vrindavan Lal Verma, Pt. Banarasi Das Chaturvedi. His contribution in Hindi book exhibition, Vagishwari, hand written Hrishikesh Smriti Granth, Hrishikesh Lecture series cannot be forgotten. Chaturvedi ji says that he is still proud of the legacy left by his father. It is noteworthy that Hrishikesh Chaturvedi has been such a writer of Hindi and Braj language whose contribution is remembered even today in the literary world.

If Satish Chandra Chaturvedi gets agitated by a social issue, he does not miss to express his opinion or reaction by writing a letter. He advised the publisher of Nagar Palika to establish Agra Museum in 1987. He suggested to establish it in Dara Shikoh's library building (old Nagar Palika). He advised to rename Rajamandi station as Raja Todarmal Mandvi. He advised the then Prime Minister Late Rajiv Gandhi to develop Renuka Ashram as a tourist destination and name it Yamadagni-Renuka Tapovan. He advised to re-establish the tomb of Persian poet Faizi. Lal Bahadur Shastri ji advised to include railway passenger insurance and its amount in the ticket.
