Dear MAD members:
The Middle Atlantic Region is seeking nominations for the position of Councilor. Middle Atlantic Regional Councilor serves on the Council of the AAG, which is the decision-making body of the AAG. Regional Councilors. Regional Councilors serve for a period of 3 years and they both represent their region and set policy for the AAG. The AAG Council meets twice a year and makes all of the decisions related to the business of the AAG in consultation with the Executive Director.
The name, affiliation and email address of each candidate should be provided: biographical information is not required. Please provide the information to Molly Brown at molly.brown@nasa.gov or to Cathy Cooper at ccooper@ngs.org or to Martha Georges at mgeores@geog.umd.edu.
Nominations are due by May 1, 2010.
We expect to have the election for councilor in early-June.
