Centennial Trail project

67th Winnipeg Scout Group has the opportunity to adopt a section of this hiking trail in the Whiteshell, essentially meaning we would agree as a group (or, perhaps even as a section) to do some annual trail maintenance. I'm not sure that it's practical to get out there as a group this spring, but maybe something could be arranged in the fall, if this is something that we would like to take on.

This is a trail that was created by Scouts MB Council in 1970, has fallen into a bit of disrepair, and is now being rejuvenated.

The Centennial Trail is located on the original lands of the Anishinaabe Treaty 3 Region. We respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we dedicate ourselves to move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration. We encourage all trail users to learn more about the land that they are travelling on.
