Monday, April 6, 2020: All-Sections Advancement Ceremony

6:15 pm – 7:15 pm at St. Aidan's Anglican Church, 274 Campbell Street, Winnipeg, MB

Senior Beaver Scouts move up to Cub Scouts.  Senior Cub Scouts move up to Scouts.  Senior Scouts move up to Venturer Scouts.  Senior Venturer Scouts move up to Rover Scouts.

Swim-Jump-Move Up Night - featuring ceremony, treats, and games 6:15 p.m. start. White-tail Beaver Scouts “swim up” to Cub Scouts; third-year Cub Scouts “jump up” to Scouts.

Please have full uniforms on. All Scouting members and parents please attend, if possible.

Juice/drinks will be provided. **Treats and snacks are requested from the families** Let us know if you can bring something. NOTE that this event will be held at St. Aidan’s (during the Beaver Scout meeting).

Saturday, April 18, 2020:  All-Sections Canvassing for Scoutrees

10:00 am to 2:00 pm (gather at St. Aidan's Anglican Church, 274 Campbell Street, Winnipeg, MB).

We gather all ages from our Group to canvass the River Heights neighbourhood for donations in support of our Scoutrees planting activities.  Please meet for 10:00 a.m. We will canvass 10:00 - noon, stop for a pizza lunch and then head out for a little while after lunch.  Parents please pick up at 2:00 p.m.  Can only come for part of the time?  No problem.  Arrangements can be made for early pickup or late arrival.  Pizza lunch will be provided.  Please wear full uniform and weather-appropriate clothing.  Parents are welcome to join in.

Saturday, May 2, 2020:  All-Sections Scoutrees Planting Day

Annual Scouts Manitoba tree planting.. Each year, Scouts of all ages gather at a designated reforestation site. About 15,000 trees are planted each year.  Planting location to be determined.  Drive yourself there, or meet at St. Aidan's at 8 a.m. for carpools.  After planting, we may arrange lunch at picnic site, before returning to St. Aidan's by 3:30 p.m.  Either way, please register at 67thWpg@gmail.com by Wednesday, May 1.

Each participant should pack a water bottle and dress for the weather, with proper footwear and gloves. Also, please bring a spade and ice-cream pail or cloth bag to carry seedlings. Uniform is not required, but neckers should be worn.

Thursday, May 21, 2020:  Group Committee meeting

7pm – 9pm @ 274 Campbell Street, Winnipeg, MB, Canada (St. Aidan's southeast door)

All leaders and Scouting parents are requested to attend. This is where decisions are made that affect your Scout group!  Every family and registered member has an opportunity to provide direction on group management and administration.  All Scouters and parents are requested to attend.
