During your on-campus experience, we will be talking with you about how technology can support you as you become teacher leaders. There are just a few things that you will need to do before you come to campus so that we are all on the same page.

Sign up for a Google Account if you don't already have one. When you create a Google Account you have two options: (1) create an account with a new Gmail email account (sign up here) or (2) create an account with an existing email account (sign up here). Please remember the username and password for your Google Account because it can be a little tricky recovering it.
Create a Twitter account if you don't already have one. This video shows you how.
Download Jing to the computer you will be bringing with you to campus if it doesn't already have a screencasting tool installed. You can download Jing for free by visiting their website and clicking on "Free Download" (click here to go to their website). This video can also help if you need a step-by-step walkthrough. Once you have Jing downloaded, you may want to create a test screencast. The following tutorial shows you how: Tutorial link
NOTE: If you're unable to download Jing due to restrictions on your school district laptop, you can try to use www.screencast-o-matic.com It doesn't require a download but your Java has to be current.
